At MirrorSplit, customer satisfaction is our highest priority. Because our products and services are delivered digitally (browser-based editing tools, AI-powered features, and subscription plans), our refund and exchange policy is designed to be fair, transparent, and in line with industry standards for digital services.

2Digital Nature of Our Services

MirrorSplit is a Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) platform. All features — including video editing, audio mastering, AI auto-captions, and export capabilities — are delivered digitally through your web browser. There are no physical goods involved, and access is granted immediately upon subscription.

Important: Since our services are digital in nature and access is provided instantly, we encourage all users to take advantage of our Free Tier to fully evaluate the platform before committing to a paid subscription.

3Refund Eligibility

We offer refunds under the following circumstances:

Eligible for Refund

  • Duplicate or accidental charges
  • Service was completely inaccessible during extended periods due to platform issues on our end
  • Charged after cancellation was properly submitted before the renewal date
  • Request submitted within 7 days of the initial purchase with minimal usage

Not Eligible for Refund

  • Change of mind after extensive use of premium features
  • Failure to cancel before the auto-renewal date
  • Dissatisfaction with features that were clearly described before purchase
  • Third-party issues (e.g., browser incompatibility, slow internet)

4How to Request a Refund

To initiate a refund request, please follow these steps:

Include your registered email, date of purchase, payment reference, and reason for the refund.

Our team will review your request within 3–5 business days and notify you of the outcome via email.

Refund Processing

Approved refunds are processed to the original payment method within 7–14 business days, depending on your bank or payment provider.

5Exchange Policy

As MirrorSplit is a digital service, traditional product exchanges do not apply. However, we offer the following alternatives:

  • Plan Adjustment: If you purchased a plan that does not suit your needs, contact us and we can help you switch to a more appropriate plan. The price difference will be prorated accordingly.
  • Service Credit: In certain cases, instead of a monetary refund, we may offer service credit that can be applied toward future subscription periods or upgrades.
  • Feature-Specific Support: If a specific feature is not working as expected, our support team will work with you to resolve the issue before considering a refund.

6Subscription Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time. Upon cancellation:

  • You will retain access to Pro features until the end of your current billing period.
  • No further charges will be made after cancellation.
  • Your account will automatically revert to the Free Tier at the end of the billing cycle.

⚠️ Tip: To avoid unwanted charges, please cancel your subscription at least 24 hours before the renewal date. You can manage your subscription from your account settings.

7Exceptions & Special Circumstances

We understand that unique situations arise. The following are handled on a case-by-case basis:

  • Unauthorized transactions or suspected fraud on your account.
  • Extended service outages exceeding 48 hours that significantly impacted your workflow.
  • Billing errors resulting from system glitches or payment gateway failures.

In such cases, please reach out to our support team with relevant documentation, and we will prioritize your request.

8Policy Updates

MirrorSplit reserves the right to update this Refund & Exchange Policy at any time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. We encourage you to review this policy periodically.
